GOSSIP: No More Fashion Week At Bryant Park?

According to The Daily News, Bryant Park Corp are threatening to cancel next seasons NYC fashion week because of conflict with an ice skating rink. Fashion Week has been held at Bryant Park since 1993 and it has become more of a symbol then just an event space. Anna Wintour said oh no you didn't and stressed that she knows mayor Bloomberg will not let this happen. That's right Anna show em who's boss.

GOSSIP: Alice Temperley Next Designer for Target

Rumor has it that London based designer Alice Temperley is going to be the next Go International Designer for Target. It should be coming out at the end of this summer. The Temperley brand is only 7 years old and first appeared in Sept 2000 during London fashion week. This is still unofficial but when news hits I will post it.

BREAKING NEWS: John Galliano's Top Man Found Dead

According to Gawker.com, John Galliano's long time colleague and right hand man, Steven Robinson was found dead today in Paris. Apparently he was 38 and was a very big part of both Dior label and Gallianos label. Steven Robinson and John Galliano have a very long history and friendship for 2 decades so we will see how this will effect the house of Dior.

Penelope Cruz and Sister Monica to Design for MANGO

Lordy, so many celebs designing for chain retailers these days its hard to keep up. The next to jump on the bandwagon is Penelope cruz and her sister Monica, who by the way is georgeous just like her sister. They will be designing a 25 piece collection for the Spanish retailer Mango. This makes sense I guess because Penelope is from Spain and so is Mango so its a good match. By the way, Monica is a flaminco dancer.. mmm spicy, hope the collection will be spicy too! Muy Caliente

See I thought I wouldn't be shopping at the Gap anymore.. well I thought WRONG! Gap is coming out with a limited edition collection which will be designed by 2006 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners Doo-Ri Chung of Doo.Ri, Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, and Thakoon’s Thakoon Panichgul. The collection will come out on April 17th in over 100 Gap stores. I guess Gap is trying to reach a younger trendier audience.. mission accomplished. I absolutely love those white shorts, they are so adorable.
P.S.How cute is the picture with Thakoon and Carmen Kass, shes so much taller then him.
