Hedi Slimane Leaves Dior Homme

Hey what happened? You never really hear much news from menswear but that has changed now that Hedi Slimane left Dior Homme after 7 years. On his website, hedislimane.com, he gives his story and says " I had already set up the principles that could not continue to be there for Dior Homme." His contract expired last July and LVMH proposed a new contract and even gave him a an opportunity to start a new house under his name if he stayed with Dior Homme, but he declined. hmm I wonder why, that sounds like a great deal to me, but he must have felt out of place at Dior. Well we shall see how this plays out.. maybe he will go back to Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Homme? start a rivalry.. mm I love fashion drama
